Mr Yu really helped to make learning JC Chemistry a little less painful. He makes sure we are clear of our concepts and is always willing to help answer my queries, no matter how early or late I send them in. Learning Chemistry from him not only helped me improve my knowledge about the subject but also cultivated my interest towards Chemistry. Thank you Mr Yu for being so approachable and understanding towards your students’ needs and always going out of your way to help us in any way we need!

Mr Teo made physics easier to digest and understand. He has enjoyable lessons which make the overall learning process more conducive. He also provides great physics assistance outside of the classroom.

I have been under Mr Yu for 6 years now, and throughout this time he has consistently proved himself as not only a great teacher, but a great friend too. He strives to make every lesson engaging and entertaining for us so that we can learn better. Mr Yu is a tutor that truly wants to help his students, and I am grateful to have been one of those students. Thanks for everything you have done cher and I hope that I can do you proud in my A Levels.

When I joined Mr Yu at the start of j1, I was new to the class but even then Mr Yu was already so open and such a fun teacher. He always told us fun stories, lame jokes and like life stuff whenever he senses that the class is dying. Even when he is teaching us chemistry and going through papers, he would always be very meticulous, ensuring that the small and important details are made known to us so that we miss them out when revising. Mr Yu is also very sarcastic (in a good way), especially when the class jokes around he’d always play along.

Mr yu has been teaching me H2 chemistry for 2 years and is honestly the most motivating and inspiring teacher. He gave me confidence and motivation to keep trying. He takes the time to explain concepts and is patient with his students. He never once dismissed my question and always took the time to clarify my doubts. He never made me felt as if i just asked a useless question. This always made me feel motivated to attend his lessons and felt a sense of accomplishment just by attending.

Mr Yu makes chemistry interesting by making class engaging. I find it rlly helpful when he highlights common questions, or questions to take note of. i enjoy his lessons very much and have found them beneficial to my learning. i am grateful that i joined his class.
